EasyTimeline ist eine MediaWiki-Erweiterung von Erik Zachte, die grafische Zeitleisten fürs Wiki erzeugt.

Eine Zeitleiste wird umschlossen von den Tags <tt><nowiki><timeline></timeline></nowiki></tt>.

Die Timeline-Syntax kennt die Kommandos:
*Layout: [[#ImageSize|ImageSize]], [[#PlotArea|PlotArea]], [[#Colors|Colors]], [[#BackgroundColors|BackgroundColors]], [[#AlignBars|AlignBars]]
*Interpretation und Präsentation von Daten und Zeitabschnitten: [[#DateFormat|DateFormat]], [[#Period|Period]], [[#ScaleMajor|ScaleMajor]], [[#ScaleMinor|ScaleMinor]], [[#TimeAxis|TimeAxis]]
*Ereignisse, Perioden und Beschreibungen: [[#PlotData|PlotData]], [[#TextData|TextData]]
*Ereignisse gruppieren und ordnen: [[#BarData|BarData]], [[#Legend|Legend]], [[#DrawLines|DrawLines]]
*Abkürzungen: [[#Define|Define]]

Vier Kommandos sind verpflichtend: [[#ImageSize|ImageSize]], [[#PlotArea|PlotArea]] and [[#Period|Period]], [[#PlotData|PlotData]] und/oder [[#TextData|TextData]]. Die beiden letzten können mehrmals vorkommen. Alle anderen Kommandos sind optional. Die Kommandos sind nicht case-sensitiv.
